History

Skillteam has 20 years of experience in high quality IT-services. A brief history with some interesting milestones.

1991
Skillteam is founded as an IBM spin-off. The experience of around hundred ex-IBM employees and the ambition of a young group of ICT specialists seems a good combination.

1993
The new Infrastructure department begins to offer services for PC networks, and extends the service offer with full infrastructure integration.

1996
Skillteam creates the Application Development department to accommodate the new developments in the e-business market. Thanks to the Lotus Notes developments, this department quickly grows to become the yardstick in Java/J2EE technology.

2002
Skillteam starts a division in Luxembourg. Skillteam Luxembourg mainly specialises in business continuity services.

2006
Skillteam goes to The Netherlands. This new division specialises in business continuity services.

2010
Skillteam has acquired an extensive service offer, with references in various industries in a large number of countries.
Overall the company has now 140 experts working in Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands. With a turnover of 27 million euros and a D&B rating of A1, Skillteam has proven to be a stable company that is able to stay put in the constantly evolving world of ICT.
